- Background Location Access: Blitify collects and accesses location data even when the app is closed or not actively in use. This data is strictly required to trigger automated push notifications and broadcast live merchant flash offers when you cross into a nearby saving zone or geofenced storefront area.
C. Vendor Store Media Content (Images & Videos)
- Storefront Media: Exterior/interior shop photos, brand logos, and promotional marketing images uploaded voluntarily by registered business partners.
- Product Catalog Media: Specific item photographs and contextual short promotional videos uploaded by merchants to represent active live offers.
- Permissionless Secure Access: All partner media assets are uploaded safely via the native Android System Photo Picker framework, ensuring our platform never requests or holds broad device storage access permissions.
D. Technical & Usage Data
- Device Info: IP address, device hardware model, operating system, and unique app identifiers.
- App Activity: Interaction logs, including click-through rates on coupons, search history, and navigation patterns.
Location Data

Blitify collects location data to display available shops and vendor discounts near you. This data is accessed even when the app is closed or not actively in use to deliver real-time notifications for live merchant flash offers when you cross into a saving zone.
Core Purpose of the App
Blitify Partner is a dedicated business management app for registered local merchants to manage their digital store listings, verify discount coupon redemptions, and broadcast live flash offers to nearby shoppers.
Why does the Partner App require background location?
Blitify Partner requires background location to automate 'Live Offer Activation' based on the store manager's physical presence at the registered storefront. When a store manager is on-site (detected via background geofencing), their store status flips to 'Active/Live Offer Available' for consumers nearby. If they close the app or leave the premises, background tracking securely turns off the live offer to prevent consumers from walking into an unmanaged or closed storefront.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to provide the services you request. This includes:

Analyzing consumer habits to tailor the 'Deals for You' section specifically to matching user preferences.
Geofencing & Proximity Alerts
Utilizing continuous foreground and background location metrics to alert you of high-value discounts when you walk or drive near a participating local storefront.
Public Merchant Display & Consumer Visibility
Uploaded partner store layouts, brand logos, items, and videos are publicly displayed across the user-facing application map and search directory. This allows consumers to visually browse shop profiles, check active store features, and review live offers before arriving on-site.
Merchant Verification
Providing merchants with anonymized validation data to securely confirm and track coupon redemptions.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We strictly value your privacy. Blitify does not sell your personal data, tracking streams, or uploaded store media assets to third-party telemarketers or external advertising brokers for commercial profit.
With Participating Merchants
Sharing unique transaction identifiers with merchants to verify the authenticity of a redeemed offer.

Engagement with industry leaders like AWS for cloud hosting and Firebase for real-time app analytics.
